Product Description

Handwheel for the emergency adjustment and manual adjustment of worm gear screw jacks or systems. Safety handwheel for the emergency adjustment and manual adjustment of worm gear screw jacks or systems. Safety handwheels decouple themselves to prevent turning with the spindle. Standstill of the handwheel is guaranteed only up to medium speeds.
All screw jacks in the series can be manually operated. The maximum load that can be handled according to the reduction ratio of screw jacks. Obviously, greater loads can be manually handled by applying further reductions to the screw jack or by increasing the radius of the handwheel.




Jacks may be used in multiple arrangements by connecting shafting, couplings and gear boxes to simultaneously transmit power to the input shafts of the jacks. We provides gearboxes for use with jacks. Make certain that the total torque and horsepower required by the arrangement does not exceed the ratings of the box. Miter gear boxes can be operated up to 1500 rpm. Higher speeds are permissible at lower torque ratings. Noise levels may increase at higher speeds. The operating efficiency of a miter gear box is 94%.
Jacks used alone or in multiple arrangements require couplings to transmit power to the input shaft. We provides jaw type and flex type couplings for use with jacks.
All jacks, shafts, couplings and motor should be carefully aligned for maximum performance. Couplings with bores other than those specified are available upon request.
Line Shafting is used to interconnect the input shafts of Worm Gear Screw Jacks used in a multiple arrangement. The shafts transfer the torque from the motor to the jack or from jack to jack.
All JACTON screw jacks with handwheels are ideal solutions for applications where electricity or power generators is inconvenient or dangerous, light weight, low duty cycle, low target cost and short travel length. Available in load capacity 1/4 ton, 1/2 ton, 1 ton, 2 ton, 2.5 ton, 3 ton, 5 ton, 10 ton, 15 ton and 20 ton, heavy load larger than 20 ton capacity, handwheel manual operation is not recommended. There are two types hand wheels, one is cast iron handwheels, another aluminum handwheels. The cast iron handwheels sizes 100mm, 125mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, 400mm and 500mm. The aluminum handwheels sizes 100mm, 125mm, 160mm, 200mm.
