Safety nuts on screw jacks work 25 kN in rotating nut design worm gear jack. High-performance worm gear screw jacks with long safety nut are used for adjusting the height of aircraft maintenance platforms. A Safety Nut Provides Safety Roles: In the event of excessive wear on the nut thread the load will be transferred from the standard nut to the safety nut. This will also provide visual wear indication as the gap between the safety nut decreases to zero as the standard lifting nut wears. In the unlikely event of catastrophic nut thread failure the safety nut will sustain the load.
The safety nut can be used to monitor the wear on the lifting screw threads on the lifting nut (rotating screw jack) or worm gear (translating screw jack). As the lifting screw thread on the nut / gear wears the gap between the safety nut and the nut / gear reduces to zero. This allows for wear monitoring and scheduling of preventative maintenance before parts become worn out.

When your selection is made within the areas shaded dark gray, you will need to reduce duty cycle or choose the bigger size screw jack in order to allow effective heat dissipation.
Before packing, all Customers' orders will be inspected following Production Drawings and Inspection Report.
* Inspection of Screw Jack: model, screw diameter, screw pitch, installation type, basic design, stroke length, screw end types, wormgear ratio, worm shaft diameter, input shaft types, motor flange types, accessories, lubrications, housing color, orders with special requirements, smooth lifting.
* Inspection of Bevel Gearbox: model, input shaft diameter, output shaft(solid or hollow) diameter, input flange dimensions, shaft arrangements, rotation directions, mounting positions, gear ratios, accessories, lubrications, housing color, orders with special requirements.
* Inspection of Lifting System: except above points, must inspect the order quantities of jacks, gearboxes and others.
